Many consider Southeast Haiti the poorest and most remote region of the country. This is the story of how HHP worked with community leaders to seed and grow meaningful, sustainable healthcare here. In 2021 our founding medical director Roberto Peigne was forced by violence and political upheaval to move with his family to safety in the U.S. HHP is forever grateful for his guidance.
